One-to-one or two-to-one Homestay Immersion

Introducing General or Business English

The General or Business English course offers a full-immersion experience tailored for learners who want to focus on General or Business English. You’ll live with a local host family, giving you the opportunity to practice your English in everyday settings. Lessons are either one-to-one or two-to-one (if you bring a friend at the same level), and cover all essential skills—reading, writing, speaking, listening, and pronunciation.

For Business English learners, this course includes exclusive visits to London’s business hubs, such as the City of London and Canary Wharf, where you’ll observe and discuss real-world business environments. Additionally, all students can enjoy two excursions per week with a tutor, combining language learning with cultural exploration.

Rapid Progress

Choose from three to six hours per day of one-to-one tuition, based on your precise needs. Outside formal lessons, you will be in relaxed social situations, giving the opportunity to build and strengthen your confidence in the language of study.

You and your Host Tutor can plan visits and excursions which are relevant to your interests, and organise specific activities in your free time. Real-life opportunities to use the language of study keep you talking and listening throughout your course, helping to boost your confidence and fluency.

Full-board accommodation

This course offers a unique combination of one-to-one lessons, delivered by a qualified and experienced specialist tutor, and full-board accommodation in that tutor's family home.

You don't just learn during lessons: all day, every day, you are immersed in the language of study. Your confidence and fluency grow day-by-day as you learn the language in a structured, yet natural manner.

What’s Included

More information about the lessons:

  • Lessons take place Monday- Friday.  

  • Saturday and Sundays are used as Free-time. Students often use this time to explore London and further practice their English.

  • Our programs and prices below are based on 60 minute lessons slots, with 20 hours per week.

  • Lessons will take place in the morning, afternoons are free to study, explore or choose a creative/cultural activity.
